Dolores Ann 'Dee'Burton, 65

DOVER - Dolores Ann "Dee" Burton, of Dover, was received into Heaven on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital from complications due to diabetes. She was 65.

Dee was born in Bramwell, W.Va., daughter of the late King Victor and Rita Cora Boyce.

Although she left West Virginia 50 years ago, it always remained a part of her heart.

Dee was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend.

Her greatest enjoyment came from the time she spent with friends and family.

Dee also enjoyed going to bingo, frequenting Dover Downs, watching soap operas, and shopping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Boyce; and loving husband, Leslie Burton.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Whitt and her husband Lawrence, and Donna Fridley and her husband Bryant; a son, Charles Totten; a sister, Nancy Boyce; four brothers, King Jr., Lloyd, Timothy, and Jamie, who all cared for her deeply; five grandchildren, Megan Bekka, Laci Whitt, Randi Whitt, Brandon Fridley, and Lanee Fridley; lifelong friends, Charlie Totten, Linda Perry and her children Yolanda, Earl, and Sherri-Lynn, Krysti Loebe and her sons Nicholas and Justin, and Bobbi Shockley and her daughter Casee.

Services will be noon Thursday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will follow in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 100 Patriots Way, Millsboro.

A gathering will be held for immediate family at the home of Kim and Larry Whitt following the service.

Letters of condolences may be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
