SEAFORD — The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control will hold a virtual workshop Sept. 28 about a proposal by Bioenergy Devco to expand its composting facility in Seaford into a plant that would transform organic waste into renewable energy.
The proposed project will require multiple permits from the department, spanning several divisions. Information is available here.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. It will allow the community to learn more about the plans and the information in the permit applications, before attendees will be able to make comments.
