WORCESTER, Mass. – Kent County’s Big League softball team reached the Eastern Regional finals on Wednesday morning but it wasn’t easy.

The hard-earned victory puts Kent County in the East finals, which are scheduled for today at 4 p.m. The Delaware squad will play either New York or Massachusetts District 4.
The winner of that game goes earns a berth in the Big League World Series, which starts on Sunday at Lower Sussex Little League in Roxana.
District I, which is now 5-0 in the regional, led 1-0 before Massachusetts tied it with a homerun in the top of the seventh.
