Distinguished Young Women is a nonprofit organization that provides college scholarships and personal growth opportunities to high school students.

Specifically, the initiative focuses on the three areas of scholarship, leadership and talent. The program for Delaware is coming up in August for the class of 2023.

The free four-day opportunity includes workshops to help girls build skills like job interviewing and public speaking. The national program makes more than $1 billion in scholarships available to participants each year.

Interested juniors should fill out an application here no later than May 1.
