Dinah O. Porter Carey, 62

BRIDGEVILLE - Dinah O. Porter Carey, of Bridgeville, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on Jan. 24, 2009. She was 62. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 44 years, Durand "Randy" Carey; sons, Durand Carey II and his wife Bernice and Richard N. Carey; siblings, Hettie Hitchens, Jack Tucker, Bill Tucker, and Buddy Tucker; grandchildren, Victoria Carey and Durand Carey III; along with numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home 700 West St. Laurel, where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. The Pastor Ken Deusa will officiate. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Contributions can be made in her memory to American Cancer Society, 92 Read's Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
