MILTON - Derek Julian Walker of Milton passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2014 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. He was 3 months old. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kelvin Walker, Sr. Derek was born in Lewes, the son of Shamar Walker and Alexis Williamson of Milton. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, James and Nicole Tingle of Georgetown and Rodney Williamson of Dover; paternal grandmother, Ruby Walker of Milton. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2014 at Lewes Church of Christ, 15183 Coastal Highway, Lewes, where friends may call after 12 p.m. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Big Brothers and Big Sister of Sussex County, 111-A N. Bedford Street, Georgetown, DE 19947. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Milton.
