DOVER — Delmar and Cape Henlopen High have their customary spots atop the DIAA field hockey state tournament brackets that were announced on Friday.

The Wildcats (15-0) are the No. 1 seed in the Division II bracket while the Vikings (14-1), whose only loss is to Delmar, are No. 1 in Division II.

Milford, Caesar Rodney, Smyrna and Sussex Tech also made the eight-team field in Division I with Lake Forest, Woodbridge and Sussex Academy also qualifying for the 12-team Division II bracket.

The Division II tournament begins on Tuesday with games at 2 p.m. In games involving Henlopen Conference teams, No. 8 Lake Forest is hosting No. 9 Woodbridge while No. 7 Sussex Academy hosts No. 10 St. Mark’s.

In Saturday’s quarterfinals, Delmar will host the winner of the Lake Forest-Woobridge game at 11 a.m.

The Division I tourney starts on Thursday with games at 2 p.m. No. 1 Cape Henlopen hosts No. 8 Milford, No. 5 Caesar Rodney plays No. 4 Padua at Tower Hill, No. 2 Smyrna hosts No. 7 Appoquinimink and No. 6 Sussex Tech goes to No. 3 Wilmington Charter.

The Division I semifinals are slated for Nov. 15 at the University of Delaware’s Rullo Stadium.
