Services include individualized college guidance and application support, college-awareness boot camps for students and parents, intensive Saturday sessions where students take rigorous college-level courses and leadership training. A family program ensures caregivers are involved and provides holistic support for students.
Offering a fully virtual programming slate, TeenSHARP’s area, which has traditionally been the Delaware Valley region, is experiencing nationwide growth and is welcoming students from Massachusetts, Colorado and Florida, among other states.
Anthony Phillips, TeenSHARP’s director of pre-college programs, said, “What distinguishes TeenSHARP from many college-access organizations across the country is that we are not just focused on helping students gain admission to college. Instead, we are extremely focused on admission and affordability.”
The application process is open, but TeenSHARP expects to have its next class selected by the end of June. Students and families interested in learning more should visit here, while applicants can visit here.
