Delaware’s long-term GDP lagging behind national average

Labor force participation rate also continues downward slide

Delaware’s gross domestic product rose an average of 1.7% a year between 1997 and 2024, which was about one-third lower than the overall 2.4% national rate during that time, state officials said last week.
