NEWARK — The Delaware men’s basketball team is going to face Duke for just the third time in its history, coach Martin Ingelsby announced today.

The Blue Hens will play the Blue Devils at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Nov. 18.
Duke will be playing its first season under coach Jon Scheyer, who replaced Hall of Fame coach Mike Krzyzewski.

Delaware also played at Duke in coach Mike Brey’s first season in 1995, falling to the No. 20 Blue Devils, 79-73. The Hens also lost to No. 2 Duke, 88-50, in 2012.

UD announced that fans who purchase 2022-23 basketball season tickets before Oct. 1 will be automatically entered to win two free tickets to the game at Duke.

The Duke contest is the only game that Delaware has announced so far for next year’s schedule.
