DOVER — Delaware’s Retiree Healthcare Benefits Advisory Subcommittee will hold its second meeting in a hybrid format Thursday.
The meeting will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Statewide Benefits Office, 97 Commerce Way, Suite 201, Dover, and via Microsoft Teams.
Those interested in attending can request access by emailing sebc@delaware.gov or by visiting publicmeetings.delaware.gov.
The agenda includes a review of Medicare plan options from the state and considerations from the Retirement Benefits Study Committee, as well as an open discussion from committee members.
The subcommittee will also share its plan for upcoming meetings through April.
These discussions come as a result of the recently instituted Senate Bill 29, sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Bryan Townsend, D-Newark. The legislation formally established the subcommittee, which includes state retirees from each county, and was signed into law by Gov. John Carney on Jan. 26.
