The Food Bank of Delaware will host distribution events in all three counties next week.
On Monday, starting at 10 a.m., food will be given out at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown. To register, visit here. To volunteer, sign up here.
On Sept. 14, starting at 10 a.m., items will be distributed at Dover Motor Speedway, 1131 N. DuPont Highway (enter through the Leipsic Road entrance and follow the signs). To register, visit here. To volunteer, go here.
On Sept. 16, starting at 10 a.m., food will be distributed at Delaware Technical Community College, 400 Stanton Christiana Road, Newark. Register here. This volunteer shift is full.
The Food Bank is prepared to serve up to 1,000 households at each pantry. Assistance is limited to one per household.
On-site registration will also be available. Service will be first-come, first-served. Proof of Delaware residency is required.
