NEWARK - Delaware opened the football season with a 22-3 victory over Delaware State in Newark last Thursday night.
The Blue Hens were making their debut under former Richmond coach Danny Rocco and improved to 8-0 in the all-time series between the state's two NCAA Division I FCS football programs.
