FELTON - Debra Lou Palmer died Thursday Feb. 21, 2013 at Bay Health Center, Dover. Debra was preceded in death by her parents Howard "Punkin" and Ada Cole and one brother Robert (April 1, 2012). She worked at Royal Farms in Felton where you could always find her smiling. She was a loving and caring person willing to help anyone. She lived for her grandkids and was a great mom-mom. She enjoyed bowling with Louie and loved her Shepherd dogs, which she trained, one of which was a Champion. She is survived by her soul mate and loving companion of 28 years, Luis Valenzuela; two children, Kelly Day and her husband Danny and son Daniel Palmer and his wife Melissa; six grandchildren, Shawn, Shyanne, Rhiannon, Giselle and her newly born grand twins Jaxson and Joshua. Funeral service will be Tuesday, Feb 26, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home Main Street, Felton, where friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. for a viewing. Interment will be Hopkins Cemetery, Felton, Delaware.
