ROUND TOP, N.Y. - Deborah Lynn Schepp, of Round Top, formerly of Harrington, Del. and Wilmington, Del., passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, in St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, after a courageous 17 year battle with cancer. She was 55.

Debbie was born July 8, 1952, in Milford, Del.

She attended Harrington schools, and was a member of the first graduating class from Lake Forest High School.

After graduation, Debbie attended and received an associates degree from Delaware Technical & Community College.

She began working as a medical laboratory technician for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Elsmere, Del., and later moved to Round Top, where she became a full-time partner in the Glen Falls House Resort in the beautiful Catskill Mountains.

She attended Asbury Methodist Church in Harrington, and was a member of Cairo United Methodist Church, Cairo.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Schepp of Purling.

She is survived by her partner of 30 years, Richard Sulger; her parents, Doris and Donald Dell of Milford; a brother, Darin and his partner Robert Wiest of Dover; stepdaughter, Karen Sulger Callahan; granddaughters, Erin Kowalewski and Alexandra Ringer; great-granddaughter, Kayla Wagner; stepmother, Joan Schepp; aunts and uncles, Gladys and Jack Longfellow, Ruth Bullock, Pearl Davidson, Betty Jane Melvin, Jean Barrett, Joan and Joe Sullivan, Owen Dellalucca, Lois and Ray Wadyka, and Edward Dellalucca; and cousins, Brenda Hurd Beene, Chuck Hurd, Michael Bullock, Roger Bullock, Donald Bullock, Ronnie Davidson, Glenn Davidson, and Beverly Davidson.

Private cremation took place at the Albany Rural Crematorium, Menands.

Debbie was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be sadly missed and cherished in their hearts forever. She would want us all to live every day to the fullest, and continue the celebration of her miraculous and contagious love for life.

As was Debbie's request, a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring at the Glen Falls House, Round Top.
