G. White, 90 BEAR - Deacon James G. White passed on Sept. 6, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Lucinda Hall Allen; one son, Arthur Walker, Esq. (Bernice); three daughters, Dorothy Harmon, Vanessa Smith, and Vicki Greene; one brother, Joseph White (Jacqueline); three sisters, Allie Mae McLaughlin, Dora Lee Kelley, and Laura Bell Jones (Melvin); nine grandchildren, James Smith (Rochelle), Sharon Gregory, Ricky Gregory (Mari), Devin Butler, Joyce Manion, Karen Portley (Marcus), Michon Walker-Lunford, Esq. (Jimmy), Melissa Marzette (Rodrick), and Byron Walker; 12 great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; one goddaughter; a very special cousin, Vernita McPherson; and numerous other relatives and friends. Celebration of life will be held on Sat., Sept. 14, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church 504 W. 4th St., Lewes, DE, Viewing 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Sun., Sept. 15, 2013 at 6 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church 1230 N. Heald St. Wilm., Viewing will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Interment will be on Mon., Sept. 16, 2013 at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, Del.
