DELMAR -- David Allen Wilson, 51, of Delmar, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. He was born Oct. 23, 1963, in Salisbury, a son of Jimmie and Beverly Wilson of Delmar. Following graduation from Delmar High he enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country for four years. He lived in Delmar his entire life and worked many years as a carpenter for various local builders. He was an avid sports fan and lived for the Redskins, Delmar sports and NASCAR racing. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Tammy Wilson; two daughters, Ashley Bell and Danielle Bell; a son, Jayson Bell; five grandchildren; a sister, Teresa Wilson; a brother, Dale Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on Thursday, Mar. 5, 2015, at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Interment with military honors was held on Monday, March 9, 2015, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
