'Shak' Sninchak, 53 CLAYTON - David Paul "Shak" Sninchak died on Sat., June 15, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Del. Mr. Sninchak was born Mar. 4, 1960 in Chester, Pa., the son of the late Joseph Sninchak and Helen Marie Marker Sninchak of Smyrna, Del. He served his country with honors in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Sninchak worked for Conoco Phillips for 23 years as a Process Operator. Shak loved working on cars, traveling, camping and fishing. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Leahey. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Janice; three daughters, Brittany Sninchak of Linwood, Pa., and Stacey and Kinsey Sninchak, both of Elkton, Md.; three step children, James Bouchat, Vicki Bouchat, and Christine Bouchat; four grandchildren, Wesley, Pastor, Jr., Marley, and Mason David; two sisters, Kathleen Roberts (Glen) and Joanne Crowder; and a brother, Michael Sninchak (Sue). A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wed., June 19, 2013 at 9 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contribution to Delaware Hospice, 911 S.
