DELAWARE CITY - David L. Heath age 65, passed away, Thursday, November 13, 2014. Born on December 18, 1946 to the late Clarence and Margaret Heath, David was educated at Thomas D. Clayton School in Smyrna and William Henry High in Dover. His years of employment were all in the field of construction. David enjoyed the sports of basketball and horseshoes, and he thoroughly enjoyed watching old western movies and western television programs. As a young child, he attended St. Paul UAME Church in Smyrna. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his five sisters, Maxine "Mac" Richardson, Margaret "Hotsie" Heath, Pauline "Polly" Heath, Stella "Teddy" Evans and Muriel "Bunkie" Sudler; a brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Heath; and most importantly, his daughter, Tisha Scott. David leaves to mourn his passing his daughter, Doris Johnson of Newark, Del.; four aunts, a host of a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Celebration of Life will be 12 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at The House of Wright Mortuary, 48 E. Commerce Street, Smyrna, Del.
