David J. Caward III, 22 SMYRNA - David J. Caward III, of Smyrna, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, due to a car accident. He was 22. David was born Nov. 11, 1987, in Dover, to David J. Caward Jr. and Barbara Thomas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, skateboarding, bicycling and being with family and friends. David is survived by his mother, Barbara Thomas of Smyrna; his father, David Caward, Jr. of Wilmington; brothers, Bruce Morris, and Gregory "CJ" Johnson Jr., both of Smyrna, Gaige Caward of Pennsylvania; maternal grandparents, Mary Thomas and Ernie Finn of Dover; girlfriend, Stephanie Marine of Virginia; aunts and uncles, Denise and Brian Fletcher, Howard and Kelly Deputy, all of Smyrna, Ricky O'Bryan of Pennsylvania, Denise O'Donnell of Delaware City; cousin, Kelly Irwin; extended family, Heidi, PJ and Brittney Finnegan, and Pauletta Nonnie Johnson of Delaware City. Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, Feb. 6, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday morning. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com. Rest In Peace, You will never be forgotten. You are loved and missed by all.
