DOVER - David E. Thompson, Jr. passed away Thursday, Mar. 23, 2017.
David was born Jan. 27, 1988, in Dover, to Carol L. Jenkins Thompson and the late David E. Thompson, Sr.
He owned his own power washing business. He worked part-time for Economy Tires as a tire repairman and also McDonalds at the St. Jones Bridge location. David enjoyed roller skating with his daughter and niece, teaching them his moves. He enjoyed bowling and playing pool with his friends. Most importantly he enjoyed riding his bike.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Arlie Thompson; and his grandmother, Alice Jenkins.
He is survived by his eight year old daughter, Makenzie May Thompson, of Millsboro; his mother, Carol Thompson, of Dover; sister, Autumn Mosley and brother-in-law George Jr., of Dover; and niece, Trinity Mosley.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m, Wednesday, Mar. 29, 2017, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at a later date.
