DOVER - David Conard died Monday Oct. 15, 2012 at home on his family farm. David was born June 20, 1966 in Dover, Del. to Joan Long Conard and the late Dale Ruston Conard. He worked as a carpenter until becoming disabled. David enjoyed gardening, hunting, music, animals, nature and playing his electric guitar. In his 20's David started a band the "Rubber Club", where he wrote and produced a CD, which he and his family were very proud of. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother Clinton Conard both in 2008. He is survived by his mother, Joan Long Conard of Dover; son, Adam Conard of Dover; and grandson, Dominic; his beloved dog Tipsy and many extended family and friends. Services will be held noon Thursday Oct. 18, 2012 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd., Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904.
