David A. Lockwood Sr.

Lockwood, Sr., 63 LEWES - David A. Lockwood, Sr., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 03, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center. He was born in Chestertown, Md., on Tuesday, Nov. 02, 1948, son of the late Arthur Jackson and Geraldine (Kelley) Lockwood. Mr. Lockwood was a resident of Lewes for the past 13 years, coming from Bear, Del. He was a member of the Carpenter's Local Union # 626 and was a very hard working man. A carpenter by trade, he loved woodworking and restoring and detailing cars. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Patricia A. (Pierce) Lockwood; one daughter, Gloria Brooks; one son,; David Lockwood, Jr.; one brother, J. Keith Lockwood; and his extended family. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE. Family will greet friends at the funeral home beginning at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 200 Continental Drive, Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.
