MAGNOLIA - Darrell Lynn Wilson died at home, Tuesday, March 27, in surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 13, 1947, in The Dalles, Ore., to Sydney and Anita Wilson. He was 64. Darrell proudly served in the United States Air Force, eventually retiring as SMSgt. After his time in the military, he found work as a Chief System Engineer at ILC. Darrell was an avid outdoorsman. He loved deer hunting and tending his vegetable garden. Darrell was also adept with his hands, and wood was his specialty. He happily made many pieces of furniture for himself, and his family. Darrell loved to travel, spend his time reading, working with computers, and skydiving; actually working as a test parachutist for the military at one time. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kathleen Wilson; son, Army Sgt. Jeff Wilson and his wife Melissa of Fort Campbell, Ky.; daughter, Christy L. Wilson of Dover; grandchildren, Kayla, Madison, and Christian Wilson, and Tyler and Vincent Casarotto; a brother, David Wilson of Kelso, Wash.; brother-in-law, Terry Booth and his wife Margie; and his beloved pal, his Chocolate Lab, Kodi. Services will be noon, Friday, March 30, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Mt.
