Daniel F. 'Booney' Wright Sr., 71
LEWES - Daniel F. "Booney" Wright Sr. of Lewes was called home to the Lord Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 71.
Mr. Wright was born Jan. 14, 1936, at home in Lewes.
He was a retired masonry contractor.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Iris and Nelson Wright; two sisters, Anna Wright and Wilda Wright; and two brothers, Howard Wright and William Wright.
He will be dearly missed by his close companion of 29 years, Conchita Clark; two daughters; four sons; three sisters; four brothers; four daughters-in-law; two sons-in-law; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many friends and relatives.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at his home, 19305 Beaver Dam Road, Lewes, where family and friends may call after 7 a.m. Dress casual.
Interment will be in Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton.
Instead of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947.
Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Milton.
