HARRINGTON - Daisy Wright Hill passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017 at home with her son, Rick and daughter-in-law, Alison. Mrs. Hill was born Jun. 28, 1929 to the late Frank B. and Mable Wright, of Harrington. She graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 1947 and then worked at the Delaware Highway Department where she met her husband, of 55 years, Rodney S. Hill. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband, Rodney S. Hill Sr.; son, Rodney S. Hill Jr.; her sisters, Evelyn Wright, Thelma Orth, and Agnes Payne; brothers, Donald Wright, and Albert Wright. She is survived by her son, Rick (Alison) Hill, of Dover, who she lived with for the past eight years. Also grandkids, Erin (Andrew) Burns, of Niskayuna, N.Y., Colin (Jackie) Hill, of Dover, and Shawn (Dani) Peterson of Collingswood, N.J.; four great-grandkids; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Wright, of Milford; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Hill; grandkids, Brian (Christina) Hill and Blair (Jessica) Hill; and five great-grandkids, all of S.C. Friends may call Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St. in Dover. The burial service will be private.
