Curt Christopher Burns

Burns, 38 SMYRNA - Curt Christopher Burns went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013. Curt proudly served in the U.S. Marines. He was currently attending Delaware Technical and Community College in Stanton where he made the Dean's List. Curt loved to read and study his Bible; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, staying fit by working out at the gym and had an interest in all sports. Curt is survived by his mother, Elizabeth M. Burns; father, Curt E. Burns and stepmom Carol; his son, James Burns; sisters, Beth Cole and husband Dwayne, Melanie A. Burns; stepsister, Candice Fifer and husband Robert; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 in Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchman's Road, Newark, DE 19702 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. followed by a service in celebration of Curt's life at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear.
