GREENWOOD - Crystal Maureen (Aspril) Ness passed at the early age of 45 at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood. Crystal was a 1986 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and had been battling illness for quite some time. Crystal was proceeded in death by her grandfather, Elmer Wood Sr., Father, William Lawrence Aspril, brother, Michael Lee Aspril and niece Michele Leigh Prettyman. Crystal is survived by her former husband, John D. Ness; her children, Jessica Ness and Michael Ness; her sisters, Christine Brewington-Marriott and Wendy Prettyman. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. The family wishes to thank all friends and extended family for their condolences, thoughts and prayers.
