Costello: It’s time to change how issues are solved in Dover

Posted

The problem is that, as long as we rely on the current politicians in Dover and their course of action, nothing will change. The current mayor and many City Council members believe that studying a problem over and over again will solve it, but they take no action.

There are two council members who have actually presented solutions, but they have been shot down by people who simply get paid. It is time for a change. The state is now opening the former Sheraton as a possible solution to homelessness and other issues, and all Dover officials have done is question and criticize.

Get them off their butts and make them act. Put their money where their mouths are. Politicians study problems costing millions. Other people solve them while paying much less.
