HARRINGTON - Constance M. "Connie" (Dulong) Williams, 75, of Harrington, and a former longtime resident of the Aldenville section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013. She passed into Eternal Life at her home surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on September 22, 1938, a beloved daughter of the late Alphonse and Malvina (Jolivet) Dulong. She was raised in Chicopee and lived in the city for many years before moving to Harrington, Delaware in 1999. She was a communicant of Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee and a communicant of Saint Bernadette Church in Harrington, DE. Connie was a loving woman and a wonderful homemaker to her family. She showered them with her love and affection which was returned to her a thousand fold. One of her favorite things to do was to bake and decorate cakes. She was quite the crafty person as well and enjoyed pottery, crafts, and flower arranging. Mrs. Williams will be remembered as a caring person who always saw the good in people and never judged anyone. She was truly a saint. She loved to have people around her especially her family. She will be truly missed. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Donald Lee Williams who was Called Home on January 4, 1999. They were married on May 30, 1958 at Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee and were blessed with over 40 years of happiness together. She leaves her loving children, Donald T. Williams and his wife, Judith Williams, of Harrington, DE, and Vicki M. Murphy and her husband, Thomas E. Murphy, Jr., of Chicopee; her five cherished grandchildren, Amber Ford and her husband, Alex, Heather Williams, Donald Williams, Jr., Adrienne Paquette, and Jack Murphy; her three cherished great-grandchildren; her dear sister, Corinne Fecteau and her husband, Patrick Fecteau, of Chicopee; and her many dear nephews, nieces and cousins. She was also predeceased by her dear brother, Donald Dulong. Her funeral will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday morning, Oct. 15, 2013 at the St. Pierre - Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA. Her burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Oct. 14, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Her family has requested that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
