TOWNSEND - Connie E. Saunders was born in Townsend, on Nov. 13, 1942, was called to reunite with our Lord on Jan. 28, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Connie leaves to cherish her memories, her six children, Gregory L. Chandler (Paula), Thomassina C. Colwell (John), LaSpencer T. Saunders Sr. (Tonia), Nakitta S. Griffin, Ronnie Henry (Juvy), Wanda Lewis; ten grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5th, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 20-24 W. Mt.
