Robinson, 89 CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Clyde Elizabeth Robinson, 89 of Chestertown, Md., passed away on February 11, 2016 in Shore Medical Center at Chestertown. Mrs. Robinson was born on October 5, 1926 in Baltimore, Md., daughter of the late George Walter and Elizabeth Reitmiller Gorsuch. At the age of three her family moved to Fairlee where she was raised. Clyde was a 1943 graduate of Chestertown High School. In 1945 she married and moved to Chestertown. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, canning, cooking and spending time with her family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, James 'Ned' Robinson in 2013; and her daughter, Elizabeth 'Libby' Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Sutton (Frank) of Wyoming, Del., Sally Lane (Buzzy) of Worton, Md. and Peggy Reed (Charles) of Worton, Md.; seven grandchildren, Sandy Chance (Dave), Frank Sutton, III, Fred Everett (Regan), Jason Everett (Stafie), Aaron Lane (Chanelle), Adam Lane, and Katie Reed (Luis Santiago); and 12 great-grandchildren, Josh, Hayden and Peyton Chance, Taylor and Madison Belle Sutton, Hunter and Hailey Lane, Ellie, John, Patrick, J.P. and Rowan Everett. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Christ United Methodist Church, 401 High St., Chestertown, where memorial service will begin at 12 p.m. Burial was held privately in Chester Cemetery.
