HARRINGTON - Clinton Leon Brown died at home on Thursday, Feb 21, 2013. Mr. Brown was a Union Carpenter for most of his life. Leon proudly served in WWII in the Navy Seabees. He owned and raced standardbred horses for over 40 years; was a member of the Standardbred Owners Assoc. as well as the US Trotting Assoc. He was a huge Philadelphia Phillies fan with an extensive knowledge of Phillies facts. He was predeceased by his wife, Janet, in 1985. He is survived by one daughter, Cindy Coverdale and her husband, Michael; one brother, Harry Brown; two sisters, Ruth Melvin and Dorothy Wechtenhiser; two grandsons, Ben Coverdale and his wife Jen , Brett Coverdale and his fiancée Sherri Hobbs; a special niece and friend, Sally Carnwright; his caretaker for ten years, Gloria Meredith; all survivors are from Harrington. Services will be private at the discretion of the family. Arrangements by Price Funeral Home Harrington, Del.
