DOVER — All city facilities in Dover will be closed on Jan. 26 due to the wintry weather, including the Dover Public Library and the John W. Pitts Recreation Center.
There will be no trash or recycling picked up on Jan. 26, so city officials are asking residents to not set their cans out until instructed to do so, as crews are trying to get to your area for storm cleanup.
The Dover City Council meeting scheduled for Jan. 26 is being postponed to Jan. 28.
Also, Kent County will be closed on Monday. The county said in a news release Sunday night that trash pick-up would be delayed one day.
