R. Fleming, 71 DAGSBORO - Chris (Priscilla) R. Fleming of Dagsboro, formerly of Ridgewood, N.J. and NYC passed away Thurs., July 18, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She attended Wesley College in Dover attaining an Associate's Degree, while there she was very involved with the Wesley Players, doing what she loved best, acting and singing. At graduation, she received a Major Award for Drama. After Wesley, she received Bachelor's of Arts Degree in English, and began teaching at Wagner Junior High School in Manhattan, N.Y., where she produced school plays and was year book advisor. She then received her Master's of Arts Degree in English Education from Hunter College, and then went on to receive her Masters of Science Degree in English Education Supervision and Administration from Pace University. She was vice president of the Sandy Beach property owner's assocation in Dagsboro, Del. Chris will be missed by all her dear friends, who hold many fond memories, and her adored cats. She leaves behind David, her beloved and cherished husband of 16 years, she credits him with "her gift of education." Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tues., July 23, 2013 at Wesley College Chapel, Division and Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. It is suggested contributions be made to Ivywoods Feline Sanctuary, 1500 Ivywoods Lane, Westminster, MD 21158 or Robert Bailey Scholarship Fund, which Chris had established, 120 N.
