MAGNOLIA - Charlotte Thompson English, age 59, of Magnolia, died January 19, 2016 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emily DiSalvo. Charlotte had been a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed the time spent with her family and friends. She had spent most of her adult life involved in the caring of her dogs and other animals. She was a kind and gentle woman who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her along with the six dogs that she loved and cared for at the time of her death. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, John Thompson, Jr, who died in 1996. She is survived by her second husband, Michael English of Magnolia; her loving daughter, Emily E. Thompson of Milford; her mother in-law, Mrs. Doris Thompson of Milford; her two grandchildren, Nathaniel Lockwood, Jr. of Magnolia, and Samantha Wilson of Milford. Also survived by her step brother, Anthony Pitoniak of Pa. A Visitation will be held starting at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2016 and A Memorial Service will take place at 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover.
