MILFORD - Charlotte Myers passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015 at Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 82. Charlotte was born in Philadelphia on November 11, 1932, daughter of the late George and Charlotte (Kirschener) Powers. She was employed as a management technician with Boeing in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania for 34 years retiring from her position in 1995. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Myers, Jr. in 2006. She is survived by a step daughter, Karen Bergeman of Aston, Pa; three step-grandchildren, John Icaro, Adelene Icaro, and Albert Bergeman; two step-great grandchildren, Dominic and Gianna; and a dear friend, Frances Lewis-Pratt of Swarthmore, Pa. Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, May 22, 2015 in the Chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro. Burial will follow the service in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Charlotte's memory to the American Lung Association of Delaware, 630 Churchman's Rd, Suite 202, Newark, DE, 19702.
