Charles P. Pritchard

MILFORD - Charles P. Pritchard, of Milford, age 72, died on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Delaware Veterans Home on Airport Road in Milford after a long illness. Charles was born on July 24, 1938, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Wallace M. and Lillian McNeal Pritchard. He spend most of his younger years in Philadelphia and later moved to Dover and acquired a job with the State of Delaware. Throughout his life Charles participated in a number of local theater groups in both the Philadelphia and Delaware areas. His favorite hobby was always singing. Mr. Pritchard served in the United States Army. He is survived by two brothers, Wallace Pritchard, and Melvin Pritchard; a sister-in-law, Ellen Pritchard; several neices and nephews of Virginia; his half brother, Earl Price of Milford, who had been his best friend and care giver for the past several years. Family and friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Trader Funeral Home Inc., 12 Lotus Street, Dover, on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011. Burial will be held at 2 p.m., Hill Side Cemetery, Roslyn, Pa.
