Jackson Rogers, 69 MILFORD - Charles J. Rogers passed away quietly at home on March 13, 2016. He was 69. Charles was born in Annapolis, Maryland on September 6, 1946, the son of Betty (Jackson) Rogers and the late Charles Edward Rogers. He graduated Milford High School in 1964. Charlie worked with his father at Jackson Printing, in Milford, a company his grandfather Frank A. Jackson originally started in 1941. The business moved to Georgetown in 1971 and became the Countian Press. In 1984, as President of the newly named Rogers Graphics, Inc., Charlie expanded the business and added locations in Georgetown, Milford, Dover, and Selbyville. Charlie's lifetime interest and involvement in politics led to him being elected Register of Wills from 1995-1998. He was a member of the Georgetown Lions Club and a proud veteran of the Delaware National Guard. Charlie is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lucille (Hickman) Rogers; two sons, Matthew Lee Rogers and husband, Erik Hein of Washington, DC; Jason Charles Rogers of Arlington, Va.; a brother, Frank Edward Rogers and wife Kim of Milford; a sister, Christine Isaacs and husband David of Milton, and many nieces and nephews. Services and burial will be held privately. The family has requested memorial contributions to the Milford Lions Club, P. O.
