Charles B. Manuszak

DOVER - Charles B. "Chuck" Manuszak passed away on July 22, 2015 in Glenn Mills, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Walter "Walt" and Margaret "Peg" Manuszak. Chuck grew up in Pennsylvania and later moved to Millsboro where he graduated from Sussex Central High School. Mr. Manuszak later went on to graduate from the Police Academy and also earned a Degree in Criminal Justice from St. John's University in Louisiana. After a 20 year career in Law Enforcement, Chuck was working at Glenn Mills School in Glenn Mills, PA and The Chester County Youth Detention Center. Mr. Manuszak was a previous member and past President of The Fraternal Order of Police. He was a devoted fan of all of the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Philadelphia Eagles, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his wife and children. Chuck was a loving husband, father and son who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Michelle C. Manuszak, of Dover; his three wonderful children whom he adored, Kayla, Kira, and son, Kole; He is also survived by his parents, Walter and Margaret Manuszak, of Millsboro; one sister, Marcie Karr and husband Jeff, of Millsboro; along with a loving niece Lexxi Karr; and nephew, Jeff Karr. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State Street, Dover, where Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. Donations in Chuck's memory may be sent in support of his three children to 110 Matthew Court, Dover, Delaware 19904. Life's End Services are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc.
