MILLSBORO — A 23-year-old man was charged with several felony counts related to the possession of incendiary devices following an investigation at his home Wednesday, authorities said.
According to Assistant State Fire Marshal Michael Chionchio, Joshua Rieley, also known as Job Gillette, was arrested after investigation into the discovery of suspicious items at the home in the 26000 block of Hollyville Road in Millsboro.
Authorities said military gear, materials to make explosives, a .22 caliber assault-style rifle and ManKung crossbow were located inside a shed during a search-warrant execution.
Mr. Rieley was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $127,500 secured bond.
Delaware State Police and the Delaware Division of Natural Resources were also called to the scene, Mr. Chionchio said.
State police were initially called to the residence for a drug investigation, DSP spokeswoman Master Cpl. Heather Pepper said.
Mr. Rieley was also charged with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of a weapon by a person prohibited, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number. He was arraigned on those charges and given a $35,000 secured bond, police said.
DSP said Mr. Rieley’s address was registered as being in Seaford.
