The votes are in for the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce’s (CDCC) Excellence in Business Awards, and it is time to celebrate all the nominees, winners, graduates, and CDCC community members at the 2022 Awards for Excellence Celebration occurring on June 23 at Pizzadili Vineyard & Winery at 1683 Peach Basket Road in Felton from 5 – 8 p.m.
There is a lot to celebrate here in central Delaware. The CDCC actively seeks out any opportunity to showcase the spectacular people and business working hard to serve their community every day. The organization feels it is incredibly important to highlight excellence in the local community. It is even more important to have the business community lead these efforts. The CDCC requested members to submit their votes for the nominees in the Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, and Young Professional of the Year categories. The winners will be awarded during the celebration amongst their fellow chamber members and business community.
In addition to awarding their nominees, there will be graduates at the dinner as well. New leaders will emerge triumphant as they proudly walk across the stage to receive their diplomas for successfully completing the CDCC’s Leadership Central Delaware program. The LCD Class of 2022 have been enlightened about all things Kent County as they ventured through a 10-month journey full of tours, presentations, connections, activities, and more. It will be a bittersweet moment as their time formally as a class is over, but their futures in leadership together are just beginning.
This event will serve as a chance for the community to gather, reflect, and cheer for each other as they celebrate another year of growing central Delaware. Attendees can expect to hear the state of the Chamber Address to mark the end of the 2021-2022 fiscal year of the CDCC.
In these hard times, it is even more important to highlight the good things happening in central Delaware, and to look back on the challenges we all have overcome. The CDCC admires the resilience of central Delaware and feels that it crucial to celebrate another year of growth, community, and relationships. Join the CDCC in recognizing all that Central Delaware has achieved by the dedicated efforts of the community.
