Ceola B. Harrison

LEWES - Ceola Harrison was born on July 26, 1929 in Cuthbert, Ga. to the late Mr. Lynn Watkins and Annie Marie Thomas. She departed this life on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014 at Harbor Health Care in Lewes. She was educated in Georgia and later attended Wayne University in Illinois; where she graduated as a nurse. Ceola moved to Delaware to pursue her nursing career and to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. She was a hardworking, cheerful woman of God; truly an inspiration and role model for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by grandson, Vernon Fountain; and great granddaughter, Vertrice Fountain. She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Margaret Fountain; two grandchildren, Veronica and Cheryl Fountain; great grandchild, Vernette Fountain; five great-great grandchildren; and a host of devoted friends. Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Friendship Baptist Church, 500 W. 4th St., Lewes; where friends may visit one hour prior to service.
