DOVER — The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Visions of Hope HM, Inc. Sept. 9 at 425 N. Dupont Highway in Dover.
Chamber members and friends joined owner Linda Farrow and her team to celebrate. Visions of Hope HM, Inc., is a black woman-owned nonprofit organization seeking to help enrich the lives of youth in foster care in the state of Delaware.
The mission of Visions of Hope HM Inc. is to provide supervised, long-term housing for youth aged 11–18 who are currently in foster care or are hard to place.
Visions of Hope HM, Inc. was founded by Ms. Farrow to help foster youth in need of assistance and residential housing and emergency shelter services.
Using the trauma-informed approach enacted by Governor Carney in 2018, Visons of Hope nurtures a safe and healing environment that greatly benefits both the children and their families.
