DOVER — On Thursday, Oct. 21, more than 190 individuals gathered at Dover Downs Casino to #dogood for Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building affordable homes and providing a handup to our neighbors in Kent County.

Thanks to all those that attended, more than $7,500 was raised that night through various raffles and donations. The proceeds from this event will be used to fund future Habitat homes and programs that provide opportunities for low to median income families and individuals. CDHFH is very humbled to have been a part of Gals that Give #dogood benefit series for 2021. CDHFH would like to thank the following for making this event happen: Gals that Give, Dover Downs Hotel & Casino, Vincenzo’s Catering, Chelsea Clark, and everyone that attended that evening.

Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity seeks to put God’s love into action, by bringing people together to build affordable homes, communities and hope. CDHFH has built and refurbished 75 homes and given a hand up to over 300 individuals since 1990. With sustainable giving such as this, CDHFH hopes to create a generational impact in the community.
