DAGSBORO - Carl H. Morris passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 at his home. Mr. Morris was born in Philadelphia, Pa., son of the late Phillip J. and Lydia (Hancock) Morris. Carl was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Army. He was a mechanic most of his life working for Cordrey Ford in Millsboro, Del., Thorogoods and Parker Block Company before his retirement. Carl enjoyed surf fishing, gardening and woodworking. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy T. Morris in 2011. He is survived by his son, Michael Morris and his wife, Gail of Dagsboro; and a brother, P.J. Morris and his wife, Marion of Georgetown. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, DE., where friends and family may call after 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Dagsboro Redmens Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.
