DOVER — A carjacking at Delaware Technical Community College Thursday morning is under investigation, Dover Police said.
Spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said police received a call for a vehicle theft at 100 Campus Drive at 7:11 a.m.. Officers responded and could not located the victim at this time however she later responded to Dover Police Department, he said.
Investigation determined that a white male suspect pushed the victim to the ground as she was getting into a 2012 Gray Kia Sedona bearing Delaware registration XQ468051 in the bus parking lot of the school, police said.
The victim sustained minor injuries and the suspect fled in the vehicle, police said.
The suspect is described as a slim white male wearing a black jacket and a white hooded sweatshirt, police said. There are currently no leads at this time.
