MAGNOLIA — Caring Hearts, Helping Hands worked with several community organizations recently to donate 144 backpacks and footwear gift cards to local students.
Among the many generous donors this year were Artisans’ Bank, Raymond F. Book & Associates, the Champions’ Club neighborhood, Delaware Department of Education employees, Lions Clubs, Masons and Orchard Church.
In addition, schools supplies were doled out to seven Kent County educational facilities.
Caring Hearts, Helping Hands assists low-income working families in Kent County, serving 125 households and about 400 kids.
