Caporiccio: Trump’s dyslexia comments stir anger

Posted

Donald Trump has never found a disability that he won’t denigrate and make fun of. He started at one of his first pressers as president in 2017, when he made fun of the disabled reporter. And, now, he’s denigrating the millions of citizens who have been diagnosed with dyslexia. What kind of person consistently does this? He has no empathy, cares nothing for others’ feelings and delights in doing this sort of thing. And his “Make America Great Again” cult followers, including the no-longer-Grand Old Party members in Congress, laugh along with him, saying that it’s Trump being Trump.

That’s the sad part: People who probably wouldn’t accept this sort of behavior from a family member accept it from this man. They should know better.
