Camden VFW accepting Voice of Democracy submissions from high school students

CAMDEN — Camden’s Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3238 is taking part in the VFW’s national Voice of Democracy audio essay competition. There are prizes at the Post, district, and state level, as well as the national first-place winner receives a $30,000 scholarship and trip to Washington, DC.

The theme for the 2023-2024 contest is “What are the Greatest Attributes of our Democracy?” It is open to all high school students in the area. The deadline is Oct. 31.
